The Central Bank of West African States (French: Banque Centrale des États de l'Afrique de l'Ouest or BCEAO) is a central bank serving the eight west African countries which comprise the West African Economic and Monetary Union: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, Guinea Bissau, Mali, Niger, Senegal and Togo.

West African States have a code letter indicating the initial country of issue. The code letters are as follows: A - Cote d'Ivoire, B - Benin, C - Burkina Faso, D - Mali, H - Niger, K - Senegal, T - Togo and S - Guinea Bissau.
